"Chethashri Balakrishnam bhajare" is the true Dwiajavanthi song by Muthuswami Dikshithar who among the trinity -- Thyagarajaswami and Shyaamaa Shaastri being the other two -- was the only one who travelled all over India to personally visit temples and write songs on those deities. He ended up in Kashi -- Varanasi -- and came across the Hindustani raga Jai Jai Vanti which he brought back to Thiruvaroor and composed this song in Dwijavanthi -- Jai Jai make "Two" and thus "Dwi" -- now we are all happy to listen to this lovely song. Akhilandeswari, a popular song in Dwijavanti is not really a Muthuswami Dikshithar. Sahitya is lovley; however, experts question the authenticity of awarding the ownership of this song to Dikshithar. No matter, that song is also pleasing to listen. The all time popular Madurai Mani Iyer, the mahavidwan, never sang Akhilandeswari in any of his thousands of kutcheris all across S India. MDR too never handled Dwijavanthi songs we are talking about. I wonder why. Who knows there exists a rasika who has heard the great MDR sing it. Wonderful and divine journey I felt throughout this concert. Absolutely mesmerizing effect they have created by nice narration accompanied by melodious Abhang , pure bhakti flowing uninterrupted like dhara. Harmonium and mridangam are superb like spices to eat. Thank you very much for creating such a nice educative devotional video. At times, tears of joy come out while listening to the story.

Iam a big fan of Vinay's narration and Shiva Sri singing...she has bhakti in her voice..ber singing the bhajans stirs my soul...please plan more such events in Bangalore....and please upload all the concerts in youtube for all cannot attend the concerts in person...these concerts are like gemstones which should not be missed
